Tate Mode Entertainment makes games and utilities for Apple devices. This policy covers our apps and this website.
Our games
Our games don’t collect, store, or share any personal information. They have no ads, analytics, or accounts, and they don’t send anything over the internet. Your progress, such as scores and settings, is saved only on your device, and deleting a game deletes its progress. Because we never receive any of your data, there’s nothing for us to share, sell, or delete.
Some games have a “Visit Website” button that opens tatemode.com in your web browser. The “This website” section below applies there.
Tate’s IP Utility
Tate’s IP Utility shows your Mac’s IP address in the menu bar. When it shows only local IP addresses, it never connects to the internet.
To show your public IP address, it contacts the IP lookup service you choose, as often as you set it to. Like any website you visit, that service sees your public IP address, and its own privacy policy applies. If the service needs a key or other credential, the one you enter is stored only on your Mac, in the app’s settings, and is sent only to that service.
We don’t run these lookup services, and the app never sends your IP address, credentials, or any other data to us.
Purchases
Purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy. We only see sales totals, never who made a purchase.
This website
This website uses Google Analytics, which uses cookies, to count visits and see which pages are viewed. That data is collected by Google and is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy. We only see it in aggregate and never see personally identifiable information. You can opt out with your browser’s tracking protection or Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
Donations
Donations made through PayPal are subject to PayPal’s Privacy Policy. PayPal may share your email address with us when you donate. If we receive it, we won’t share or sell it to anyone.

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
